Curiosity And The Mars Mysteries

A landscape picture of Mars. A photography among multipe others. Rocks. Rocks. And, somewhere, an amazing one. A "What's that ?" image. It is often so with pictures of the Curiosity rover, issued by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory/NASA.  Among the images sent by the Mars Space Laboratory (the other name for Curiosity) is a large number showing what is named Martian anomalies.

You can see particular forms usually called "strange rocks" and you always can be surprised by the amount of discoveries found on Martian landscapes.  With no doubt, some images of the red planet soil, taken by the rover during the year 2013, seem particularly fruitfull. And this just ask right there on Earth, more and more questions about life on Mars in the past.

Think, under your eyes are many stones or perhaps objects, some looking to have really been there since a long time. And if, for a large part, they do not resemble to anything known, they can not be combined with optical illusions.  The year 2013 was rich in events and more photos sent by the Curiosity rover allow fruitful discoveries of Martian anomalies. These findings may surely be better classified in the Archaeology than in Geology because of some evidence. But these new findings sometimes needs open minded eyes. Sure, among the thousands of images published by the websites of the JPL/NASA, are some of the robot (and also from its now very used wheels) and are many other showing quiet places, where you can discover curious rocks with really enigmatic forms.

What could be, as example, this broken "Rayfish" (Skate), is there a "mini-cockpit" and did the sharp part ahead belongs to him ? The location of this strange rock itself, with white markings along on the soil, is a question about. Another one, among the Mars Mysteries.  (crops from JPL/NASA images)
