Ottawa Police and Social Services Support Abuse Against Women

Imagine a world where the people who you trust the most end up becoming the subjects of your most terrifying nightmares. Imagine the people who have sworn to protect you are in fact those you need protection from.

This is the awful reality for poor Dezrin Carby-Samuels from Ottawa. Who could this villain be in her life, subjecting her to so much torment? Why it is none other than her own husband, Horace Carby-Samuels supported by a false affidavit issued by Alison Timmons who represents the Nepean, Rideau and Osgoode Community Resouce Centre. [VIDEO BELOW]

Horace has apparently broken his sacred marital vows to love, comfort and honour his wife. He reportedly abuses her, starves her and neglects her. Dezrin has suffered gross psychological abuse to such an extent that she has lost the ability to walk and talk. Dezrin quickly became a prisoner in her own home. How do such atrocities as this go on in our day and age? Surely actions such as these wouldn’t be able to be carried out? Why doesn’t somebody call the police?

The officers from the Ottawa police force are not the beacons of hope, protection and law enforcement that they have sworn to be either. They have shown the world how the stereotypes are true. Some cops are evil. They are crooked and they can be bought. They, led by one officer in particular, have forcibly ensured that Horace is able to continue harming his wife. They have disregarded their oaths, as well as basic human rights and decency for an inflated, back pocket pay check.

This pathetic excuse for law enforcement have prohibited the only person left fighting for Dezrin, her son Raymond Samuels II, from seeing her. Raymond witnessed this cruelty to his mother and tried to do something about it, only to realise that the police force had been bought by his monster of a father.

Dezrin is in pain. She is being tortured in her own home. She cannot walk or talk. She is being starved. She has even been denied access to a lawyer. Dezrin is no longer able to fight for herself. We need to fight for her and to prove that there is still kindness left in the world. Dezrin and her son Raymond need our help to get Dezrin the lawyer she desperately needs to defend her rights. Please give whatever you can to help them pay for the legal representation, before it’s too late. This could well be the difference between life and death for Dezrin.
