Ottawa: Abused, Disabled, Elderly Woman Denied Legal Support – You Can Help!

>> DONATE HERE Please.  Merci!

Have you ever wanted to get out there and do something about the injustices that happen in the world every day? Well, as a Canadian, you might be shocked to discover that one of these injustices is being perpetrated in Ottawa right now, and with the full support of social services.

Please review videos above and below.

An Ottawa man reported the abuse and neglect of his elderly mother who he has been legally barred by his Mom's husband (Horace Carby-Samuels) from seeing in person despite his Mom's personal wish to remain in contact. He had hoped that social services would investigate and intervene in a situation of neglect and abuse. He also wanted to arrange access to legal counsel for her, since this loving disabled lady has been kept as a prisoner in her own home owing to her disabilities, and while of sound mind, is unable to speak.

Her single written plea for help was lightly dismissed by both the Ottawa Police and the Nepean, Rideau and Osgoode Community Resource Centre, but her son hoped that if he could arrange a meeting with a lawyer, her case would be treated with the gravity it deserved. In a recorded conversation with the Nepean, Rideau and Osgoode Community Resource Centre, a representative can be heard repeatedly stating that the woman would not be allowed access to a lawyer. That this was entirely out of line has been confirmed by a sworn statement on the part of the centre stating that it had at no time denied the woman access to legal assistance.

In the meantime, the abuses observed by her son including rough physical treatment, neglect that included lack of food and personal care and verbal abuse have no doubt continued, and may even have intensified. The victim, whose first name is Dezrin, cannot get on the phone and talk to anyone about her plight, because she cannot speak. She cannot get up and go to the nearest police station because she cannot walk. She is literally the prisoner of her abusive husband.

Help her to get the legal assistance that she needs and has been denied by making your donation now!
